On Labor Day weekend, 2004, Ernie and I went to Morehead City 
to pick up our 8th addition to the Dobieden.

Introducing little 5 week old "Dixie".  Formally registered as Harraden's Dixie Diva,
she got her moniker from 2 very special people.... and this is the first they heard about the secret!

Dixie is for our internet "mom", Sandi, and Diva is for my very special friend in Maryland, Rita.
Rita loves red as much as Mona, so we made sure to get a red pup from this litter.  
And I want to thank another special friend, Mona, 
for creating the most beautiful graphics for this page.
Once again, she has captured the personality of this little being.
